Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

This verse, and this song is for many of us who can be what I call, “Celebration challenged.” Yes, we need to be still, quiet, and relevant before God, but don't forget that this verse boldly says rejoice always and yes, in case you missed it repeats, "I will say it again: rejoice!”

Musically, this is my attempt at writing a song with a Mediterranean influence. During one of my visits to Israel I was walking through the old city of Jerusalem, and I heard this groove coming from a car stereo. I quickly recorded it with my phone so I could apply it to a song someday. For me this music just shouts out the word, "REJOICE!”
