Song of the Week - #13 - "The Kingdoms Of This World"
My inspiration for this song is the Hallelujah Chorus! My hope is to remind us and declare once again that at the end of the age, God wins! Eternal victory is His (and ours!) which is why we repeat over and over again “And He shall reign forever and ever!” If you feel hopeless in your life or discouraged by the injustices you see around you, take heart, Jesus has overcome. We will see the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ!
A huge thank you to Bryan Taylor - drums, Sam Beumier - bass, Carlos Gallardo-Candia - piano and vocals, Linda McCrary - vocals, Kesha Shantrel - vocals and Leon McCrary - vocals. Thank you once again to Carlos Gallardo-Candia for producing ‘Song of the Week’.
Revelation 11:15-17 NLT “The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: 'The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.’ The twenty-four elders sitting on their thrones before God fell with their faces to the ground and worshiped him. And they said, ‘We give thanks to you, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who always was, for now you have assumed your great power and have begun to reign.”
