Song Of The Week - #8 - "Christ the Lord is Risen Today"
Though this is a fun and understated way of celebrating, it is heart felt! As we join with over 2 billion Christians around the world, let’s celebrate with profound happiness the joy that our Lord Jesus has indeed opened paradise!
Because of His resurrection Easter morning, we can shout and play, Christ the Lord is Risen Today!
Special thanks to my good friends Carlos Gallardo-Candia on ukulele and Sean Beck on mandolin. This was so fun to put together!

“Dying once, He all doth save, Alleluia!”
Hebrews 10:11-14nlt “Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet. For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy." "Love’s redeeming work is done, Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!”
John 19:30 “ ..Jesus said, ‘It is finished…’”
John 17:4 “I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do."
Col. 2:13-15nlt “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” "Death in vain forbids His rise, Alleluia!”
Mark 16:6niv “'Don’t be alarmed,’ he said. ‘You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
