This song is offered in response to the heartbreaking and terrifying news we hear nearly every day. At times I feel anxious, angry, and hopeless but then I’m reminded to pray and I’m reminded that I can ask people like you to pray.

The prayer of this song is that God's peace which is beyond our ability to understand will hold and surround us in our times of deep need.

This song was written in a moment of desperation for God to reveal Himself to me. I was feeling very low and was crying out for Jesus to come close and communicate His presence to me. As it turns out, praying honest, desperate prayers is a very scriptural thing to do.
