One Sunday morning at the end of our worship, I felt stopped in God’s presence. I was deeply stirred by the God who is ever calling us away to that eternal place with Him. This song was conceived in that moment. May we respond to the stirrings God is putting in our hearts for Him today.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

Isn’t it true that when we worship God in a real way, we always walk away being reminded that He is even greater than we had thought? This song is just another attempt to help us celebrate His unfathomable greatness. And one more thing - His greatness and limitless power are at work within us!

The description for this song is simply a prayer. Lord, when I read this passage of scripture it stops me. I pause and imagine the terrifying, yet beautiful and wondrous sight of your appearing! It reminds me to tremble before You, worship You, and return to You again.
